One-Stop Career Centers provide job seekers with a full range of assistance under one roof to offer training, referrals, career counseling, job listings, and similar employment services. Many One-Stops include specialized staff who serve eligible Veterans and other eligible persons exclusively. These specialized staff are known as Disabled Veterans' Outreach Program (DVOP) specialists and Local Veterans' Employment Representatives (LVER).
One-Stop Career Centers must ensure that Veterans and eligible spouses are made aware of:
- Their entitlement to priority of service;
- The full array of programs and services that are available to them; and
- the eligibility requirements for those programs and/or services.
Veterans and eligible spouses must be identified at the point of entry to physical locations, such as One-Stop Career Centers, as well as web sites and other virtual service delivery points so they can take full advantage of priority of service.
